Recent Deal Roundup: December 2015

The last quarter of 2015 was very busy here at Lighter Capital—we kept our foot on the gas pedal to finish out the year strong. We’d like to highlight some of the recent deals we completed in Q4 with new and existing clients. This includes follow-on financing to six of our existing borrowers, and initial loans to four new borrowers as well.


Congratulations to Ceterus, Good Done Great, Imprev, Fusion Laboratories, IPfolio, and Officework Software on qualifying for (and receiving) additional growth capital. In fact, these borrowers averaged a total refinanced principal amount of $516K. One company received two separate loans during the quarter, and two other companies actually received their third round of financing from Lighter Capital!

Welcome to the six new additions to the Lighter Capital family featured below. These companies received loans averaging $404K, well above our average initial loan amount of $250K.


Back at You, Inc. offers a SaaS solution for realtors to generate exclusive leads. The company delivers simple, automated Facebook marketing services for real estate professionals. Back at You’s algorithmic driven software integrates with Facebook’s Ad API to drive traffic, engage users and generate leads. The company has also established partnership agreements with RE/MAX, Realogy, and Keller Williams that allows them to directly sell to local brokerages/individual agents through the real estate franchises. Back at You was selected by the National Association of Realtors as a Top Technology Innovator and part of the NAR Reach Accelerator Class of 2014.


Onehub, Inc., provides custom-branded secure online file sharing and document collaboration tools for businesses. The SaaS product offering provides storage space for documents and files that can be easily shared within and outside of the business. Within the space, a business can create workspaces or data rooms to enable sharing of only certain files with internal or external collaborators. Invited collaborators can communicate with each other by posting comments or messages within the workspace. Each user also has a defined role and is given certain access rights to workspaces, folders and files, limiting the risk of files being changed, manipulated or deleted. Customers can upload a logo, customize the space and even remove Onehub branding to create a custom-branded experience.


Proxio offers a unique global marketing and networking platform for real estate professionals to network and promote themselves and their listings. Its unique global marketing and collaboration platform is “LinkedIn meets MLS” and has over 3 million listings from over 100 countries serving 700K+ real estate professionals.


BombBomb offers a complete email marketing platform for users to create, send, and track the results of both traditional emails and video emails. Their platform is integrated with YouTube, Gmail, Animoto, Zillow, and Salesforce. The company currently focuses in real estate industry, but is also working with clients in other verticals. While the company currently focuses in real estate industry, it is also working with clients in other verticals such as Mary Kay and Moritz Chevrolet. BombBomb is a great example of a multi-million-dollar company that has grown without using equity or venture capital.


Glance Networks provides visual engagement solutions, co-website-browsing and screen sharing, to allow agents and customers to see the same thing, instantly, for immediate positive impact on sales, customer service, customer support, and the overall customer experience. Their software is used by many healthcare, financial services, technology, retail, and other various industries to create a more unique customer experience. Many of Glance’s customers leverage their strategic partner integrations with Salesforce, Genesys, LiveOps, and Zendesk. The solution offered by Glance Networks often integrates directly with their customers CRM technology, and can be deployed free of any downloadable content.


Fileboard, Inc. offers a SaaS solution for businesses to track sales leads through its sales engagement platform. The company’s platform allows its users to track interactions with sales leads through email monitoring, file sharing, shared screen presentations, and overall customer tracking as they work through the pipeline. Fileboard’s value proposition lies in their tech, which allows users to see which materials their prospects have opened, read, viewed, and for how long. Fileboard’s software also integrates with Salesforce. Fileboard was selected by Salesforce as a Rising Star Award Winner in 2014.
