Lighter Capital is excited to announce that Fileboard, a 500 Startups company, has secured growth financing from Lighter Capital.
Founded in 2011 with offices in Silicon Valley and the Netherlands, Fileboard has a leading sales engagement SaaS platform that helps sales teams share and monitor presentation materials. Fileboard’s proprietary technology shows which materials prospects have opened, read, and viewed, and for how long. The company differentiates itself through its seamless integration with Salesforce and was selected as a Salesforce Rising Star Award Winner in 2014.
To date, Fileboard has raised funds from 500 Startups and prominent Silicon Valley angels. Lighter Capital’s growth financing will be used to make a number of hires in sales and account management.
“Recent analyst research has shown that Fileboard is the strongest contender in our market, but that we need to increase our awareness,” says Khuram Hussain, Founder and CEO of Fileboard. “Lighter Capital identified our need, and in an industry where speed is critical, their rapid financing is the catalyst which will make us surpass our targets in 2016.”
Fileboard is the second 500 Startups company that Lighter Capital has funded. New York-based Likeable Local, which also went through the renowned accelerator program, has already pulled multiple tranches of financing from Lighter Capital in the past six months.
